Interview with Valeria Prokudina the Founder of Eco-lounge Beauty Salon

What inspired you to start your own beauty salon?

Like all women, I was spending a lot of time pampering myself at the best beauty salons in my home city. When I moved to Dubai, it was a big challenge to find a beauty salon where I can do all the treatments that I needed to the level of standard that I was used to. That was the moment when I realized that I am not the only one who is facing this problem, that’s how the idea of opening my own beauty salon with professional European therapists came to my mind.

There is no secret at all. We love what we do, we always look after our customers and make sure they are happy with our services.

What is your favorite treatment at the salon?

To be honest, I love all of treatments and even when my therapists are very busy, I still try to squeeze myself for full body massage, facials and hair treatments.

What are your plans for the future?

We have recently expanded our salon and services which we offer, however I still have many ideas which I am working on.

Is it difficult to run your own business?

Yes, of course it is very difficult, but I like challenges as it makes you stronger every day.
