DXB Snow Run to be held in Dubai on 11 June
Ski Dubai, in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, is pleased to announce that the third DXB Snow Run will take place on 11 June. The unique running experience is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 62 and participants will be navigating the slopes of Ski Dubai at -4⁰C.
The DXB Snow Run was launched in 2020 and was one of the world’s first snow sports competitions to be held after the resort closed. Thanks to the large number of spectators, the event has become an annual event.
Mohammad El Etri, vice president of Global Snow at Majid Al Futtaim Leisure, Entertainment & Cinemas, said: “Staying in shape during the summer months with the rising temperatures can be challenging, so we are delighted to once again partner with the Dubai Sports Council to host this unique run. Ski Dubai is the perfect place to stay active, cool off and have fun and we run a variety of social events throughout the year to keep people active.”
The DXB Snow Run starts at 6.30am and participants can choose between two distances – 3km (3 loops) or 5km (5 loops). Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a commemorative medal. Registration is now open (until 03 June) and participants can book their place on the PremierOnline website.
