Dubai awaits a 25-hour mega-sale with up to 90% off

Dubai residents and visitors will be treated to a 25-hour mega-sale with discounts of up to 90% on the first week of July. The event will coincide with the launch of the 25th Dubai Summer Surprises Discount Festival, which runs from 1 July to 4 September 2022, with the exact start date of the mega-sale to be announced.

The sale is being held in association with conglomerate Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) and will feature major retailers and brands. In addition to it, more than 1,000 brands and 5,000 shops will offer discounts ranging from 25 to 75% on the first week of the festival.

All those who shop for AED 500 or more at The Dubai Mall will be entered into a draw to win AED 1 million. In addition, shoppers can win AED 25,000 Emaar gift cards that will be given away throughout the eight weeks of the festival.

During its inaugural event, the festival will sell out offers on accommodations at the emirate’s top hotels, including Vida Creek Harbour Hotel, Address Sky View Hotel and Armani Hotel Dubai.

Family favourites Modesh and Dana will be waiting for the festival’s youngest guests at Modesh World at the World Trade Centre from 11 July to 28 August. There will be rides, games and live entertainment for children in the air-conditioned indoor area.

A restaurant week is planned for this year’s festival – the city’s catering halls will be offering special prices and gourmet set menus.

Live music, stand-up comedy and stage shows with local talents and international stars are also an integral part of the festival programme. In addition to cultural events, art fairs and exhibitions are planned, as well as fitness classes in the most picturesque corners of the city.
