Jumeirah Group launches new branded residences

Jumeirah Hotel Group is launching its fourth branded residences project in Dubai’s Business Bay area. The Jumeirah Living Residences Business Bay project in downtown Dubai is expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The chain’s collection of signature residences currently comprises Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Royal Residences, Jumeirah Living World Trade Center Residences and Jumeirah Living Marina Gate. The new project will be built in collaboration with developer Select Group and will occupy one of the six premium residential towers in the Peninsula complex on the Dubai Canal.

According to Jose Silva, chief executive of Jumeirah Group, travellers coming to Dubai are looking for more amenities than a hotel room can offer. “Our Jumeirah Living serviced hotel residences in Marina Gate have become very popular since opening in 2020,” he said.

The 35-storey Jumeirah Living Residences Business Bay tower will offer 82 premium residences, including two, three, four and five-bedroom apartments, as well as a unique full-floor five-bedroom penthouse on the top floor.

Concierge services, play and study rooms for teenagers will be available to guests. According to a recent Knight Frank report, Dubai has become one of the world’s premier branded residences over the past 10 years.

It all started with the opening of Armani Residences Burj Khalifa in 2010, and today Dubai rivals Miami and New York for the number of projects. In the past 12 months, Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, St Regis, W and Six Senses hotels have opened in the emirate, helping to boost the confidence of developers, investors and also make it more popular with travellers.
