Club Med and dnata Travel Group expand cooperation
dnata Representation Services has been the exclusive distributor of Club Med in the region since 2013. It is the world’s leading provider of upscale all-inclusive holidays. As demand from local travellers for more comprehensive holiday packages including meals, activities, flights and transfers grows, dnata is bringing Club Med even closer to the region with exclusive rates, bespoke packages and a host of new resorts by 2022.
Known for its “Sun” and “Ski” resorts in popular and unique locations around the world, Club Med continues to grow by opening, refurbishing and expanding its resorts every year. Its mountain resorts are popular with Gulf travellers looking for outdoor recreation, including new resorts in the French Alps (La Rosière) and Canada (Quebec Charlevoix), which opened in 2021.
With the start of the ‘summer mountain holiday’ season in 2022, Club Med offers a playground for nature lovers and the outdoors, with six resorts in Europe open until September. Popular hikes, trails, cycling and yoga classes are included in the all-inclusive concept, which can be booked in the Gulf with dnata Travel. For the winter 2022/23 season, new ski resorts are expected to open in Tignes and Val d’Isère, the latter being the first of the Club Med Exclusive Collection luxury resorts located in the mountains.
In addition to the mountain resorts, beach resorts in the Maldives, Bali, Seychelles, Mauritius and Phuket are popular with Gulf travellers who have booked Club Med holidays with dnata Travel.
Club Med is also opening a brand new hotel in Marbella, Spain this summer. Located at the foot of the Sierra Blanca Mountains, the resort offers views of the Mediterranean Sea and is a short distance from the city centre. It is also located in close proximity to the Spanish Riviera golf courses, and the resort has facilities for practice, teaching and golfing.
Club Med inclusions available exclusively through dnata Travel in the Gulf include stays at resorts in the 3-Trident, 4-Trident and Exclusive Collection (equivalent to 5-Trident or 5-star) ranges. All-inclusive packages include accommodation, all-day beverages and meals, childcare, entertainment, health insurance, various sporting and leisure activities, resort transfers and return flights.
