Dubai Sports World
Dubai Sports World continues to attract thousands of athletes and visitors of all ages and nationalities, who enjoy numerous and varied events for sports activities in air-conditioned indoor halls throughout the summer.
The event is organised by World Trade Centre Dubai in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council (DSC) for the 12th consecutive year. Every day during the holidays, it attracts more than 3,000 participants who come to enjoy all the daily activities taking place from 08:00 am to midnight.
Dubai Sports World comprises 42 different courts spread over an area of 20,000 square metres in Zabeel Halls Nos. 4, 5 and 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. These 42 courts include 18 badminton courts, three five-a-side football fields and three seven-a-side football fields, as well as a huge cricket area complete with throwing nets and tackle nets.
Dubai Sports World also allows racquet enthusiasts to choose between two tennis courts and contains eight table tennis courts. In addition there are two courts for padel, one of the fastest growing sports in the world, as well as two volleyball courts and three basketball courts.
Huge numbers of people from different walks of life visit the halls and courts at Dubai Sports World to enjoy their favourite sports and take part in several events that are organised as part of this grand summer event.
Several sports and fitness events are organised as part of the event, as well as a host of innovative sports academies. Dubai Sports World also represents a model of Dubai’s vision and policies to encourage a happy, sporty and active lifestyle in the community.
