Celebration of UAE National Day in Dubai
Celebrate UAE National Day in vibrant colours when Dubai’s sky lights up with fireworks to mark the momentous occasion on 2 December. The UAE National Day celebrations in Dubai, organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), run from 2 December to 11 December, giving residents and visitors to the city 10 full days to enjoy the festivities.
Visit some of the city’s most iconic venues on 2 December to get the best view of the stunning fireworks and shows taking place across the city. Head to Al Sif at 8pm to see the sky glistening with UAE colours and sample traditional food from the many market stalls and eateries.
On December 2 at 9pm, The Pointe will host a stunning fireworks and fountain show to celebrate National Day, while the event plaza will host a range of activities that are perfect for entertaining children.
At 8pm on National Day there will be a brilliant fireworks display at The Beach, opposite JBR and Bluewaters. Don’t miss out on the delicious food and drinks on offer at these venues and take advantage of the special offers running from December 2 to 4.
The UAE National Day celebrations at Dubai Festival City Mall will begin with a concert by renowned artist Fayez Al Saeed at 8pm and a specially choreographed fireworks show IMAGINE at 9pm, which will light up the sky with the colours of the UAE flag, before ending the evening with a spectacular performance by DJ Bliss at 9:15pm.
Every year on 2 December, UAE National Day is celebrated to mark the official formation of the state and the beginning of the federal unification of the Emirates in 1971.
