Terra Solis Dubai glamping welcomes guests in Dubai desert
The new eco-resort Terra Solis Dubai, whose design is inspired by the Belgian electronic music festival Tomorrowland, will start welcoming guests in the Dubai desert on December 9.
The opening night will see German legendary DJ Paul Kalkbrenner, a regular on the Tomorrowland festival circuit and a performer at many other techno events around the world.
The glamping site Terra Solis Dubai offers luxury marquees, restaurants and swimming pools, plus plenty of hedonistic parties. The first season will run until June 2023. The resort is a huge oasis on an area of 371,000 square metres.
Guests can choose from three accommodation options: 48 Polaris Bell tents, 20 Perseid lodges or one of six Orion cottages with a pool and terrace. The project was inspired by a map of the starry sky. Guests will socialise and relax by the pool during the day and listen to music and dance among the dunes at night.
At the Terra Solis Dubai resort, guests are expected to be served by the Mediterranean restaurant Mesa, a bar and the Sala shisha parlour. The huge oasis is located in the Dubailand area, 30 minutes from Dubai Airport. In addition to parties, the glamping will host wellness activities for guests, including yoga retreats.
As a reminder, a luxury and eco-friendly campsite called The Nest opened in the Dubai desert in September. Guests are accommodated in “nests” with sleeping areas, living room, bathrooms and terraces. The 14 nests are nestled among the dunes in Dubai Nature Reserve and blend seamlessly into the Arabian Desert landscape.
In addition to the outdoor excursions, guests can enjoy the gastronomic experiences of wood-fired pizzas, Wagyu beef steaks, Mediterranean seafood and Syrian olives, prepared by Executive Chef Frank Sanna. The camp is located next door to Sonara Camp.
