Proudly from Dubai participation in Film in the Desert Festival
Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Government Media Office , in collaboration with Dubai Culture, showcased unique culinary concepts by domestic businesses from the Proudly from Dubai network at the Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert festival. The second edition of the festival concluded today at Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.
As part of the collaboration, 14 of Dubai’s best-loved local food outlets and cafes presented a range of their best-selling dishes, desserts and popular coffee blends at the festival at Proudly from Dubai Market. Visitors to the festival were able to sample gourmet food and beverages and experience a variety of cuisines in an aviary dedicated to these establishments.
Fatma Almullah, head of city branding at Brand Dubai, said: “Brand Dubai is delighted to partner with Dubai Culture to offer local F&B businesses from the Proudly from Dubai network the opportunity to showcase their unique products and culinary creations at this unique festival that celebrates domestic and regional creative talent. Through this partnership, we aim to increase the visibility of promising domestic businesses and support their entrepreneurial journey and growth. This partnership also represents the first time Proudly from Dubai network members have participated in an external event. The festival provides them with a platform to connect with Dubai’s food-loving community and expand their customer base.”
