Emirates launches 30 lounges
Passengers can look forward to an exceptionally comfortable experience during the upcoming peak period as more than 30 Emirates Lounges around the world are back in full operation.
The newly-opened Emirates Lounge, located in Concourse C, next to Gate C09, is a dedicated 1,308 square metre space with a capacity of 265 seats where passengers can relax, unwind and refresh before their journey. First and Business Class travellers and Silver, Gold and Platinum Skywards members may use the lounge free of charge. Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers can access the lounge for a fee of $150 excluding tax or just $125 for Emirates Skywards members. The lounges are now open 24 hours a day to meet high demand during the festive season and passengers can relax in them for up to four hours before their flight.
With elegant design and décor including Italian marble floors, leather sofas, water features and eye-catching Rolex watches, Emirates lounges are specially designed for comfort with numerous lounges, cushions and blankets, complimentary premium wines, spirits and champagne and special dining areas with gourmet cuisine designed by award-winning chefs.
To rejuvenate and refresh, there are dedicated spa showers with en-suite bathrooms and baby changing facilities, televisions dotted around the room, free Wi-Fi throughout, personal computers and printers, and a device charging area. A fully equipped business centre is also available, including meeting rooms with projectors and individual workstations with touch screens.
Emirates has an extensive network of 39 dedicated airport lounges including 7 in Dubai and 32 at major airports worldwide. All are designed with the same attention to detail and exceptional service. At Dubai International Airport, Emirates’ 7 lounges are located in the flagship Terminal 3: 3 for first class passengers and 3 for business class passengers, as well as an Emirates lounge catering to all premium customers. Emirates also has lounges in key cities across the network – Auckland, Bangkok, Birmingham, Boston, Cairo, Cape Town, Colombo, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Hamburg, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Los Angeles, Manchester, Melbourne, Milan, Munich, New York, Paris, Perth, Rome, San Francisco, Singapore and Sydney.
Emirates Dubai’s lounges include such distinctive features as the Moët & Chandon Champagne Room in the Business Class Lounge in Concourse B, where iconic cuvée is paired with mouth-watering canapés prepared by Michelin-starred chefs. In the First Class lounge in Pavilion A, there is the Le Clos boutique of fine wines and luxury spirits, where sommeliers are always on hand to recommend fine vintages for every taste, and passengers can purchase their favourite wines on board at Le Clos shops – outside the lounges in Pavilion A and B. There is also the Cigar Bar, a separate smoking area in the Pavilion A lounge, with comfortable leather armchairs and a cigar menu. Passengers can also enjoy new concepts such as the Barista Experience from Costa Coffee, and recharge their batteries at the Health Hub, which offers a wide range of nutritious snacks and fresh juices for passengers wishing to improve their well-being, in the pavilion B lounges.
