Dubai launches 12-hour mega-sale

A 12-hour mega-sale has kicked off at Dubai’s shopping malls as residents and visitors can buy goods at up to 90% discounts on 26 December (until 22:00). Majid Al Futtaim’s malls including Mall of the Emirates, City Center Mirdif, City Center Deira, City Center Me’aisem, City Center Al Shindagha and My City Centre Al Barsha are participating in the mega-sale.

The 12-hour mega-sale is part of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) winter shopping and entertainment festival. The 46-day event features more than 800 brands and 3,500 outlets. The range of offerings is huge: goldware, electronics, cars, homewares, streetwear, the latest luxury brands, jewellery, gems and more.

The Dubai Shopping Festival is much more than just retail. As well as incredible deals and discounts, the festival also organises family events and themed entertainment for the whole family. Some of these include film screenings, street performances, night-time fireworks, games, international fashion shows, rock concerts and other types of cultural programmes.

The 28th Dubai Shopping Festival will be another opportunity for tourists from all over the world to visit Dubai and enjoy the longest shopping festival of its kind. The festival has evolved from a key shopping event into an annual extravaganza with a collection of the emirate’s best offerings.

As part of the festival, the unique DSF Drones Light dancing drone show will be on display in Dubai until January 29, 2023. The dazzling spectacle can be viewed from two venues – the Bluewaters Island waterfront and The Beach promenade. The fascinating spectacle is shown at 7pm and 10pm daily. The 3D drones perform unique choreography and move to music specially created for them.
