New Year 2023 in Dubai
Dubai is ready to welcome the New Year with dazzling fireworks displays in 30 locations across the city, superstar concerts, a stellar entertainment programme, family-friendly activities and spectacular drone shows.
Epic firework displays will take place all over the city at popular hotels, tourist destinations and public places. When the clock strikes midnight, the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, will present a spectacular spectacle. In addition, other famous landmarks in Dubai, including The Dubai Frame, Bluewaters, The Beach, JBR and Burj Al Arab, will also present their performances to mark the occasion.
Festivities will take place at more than 30 scenic locations across Dubai, including a breathtaking show at Atlantis, The Palm. The city’s golf courses will also be popular destinations for New Year celebrations. Jumeirah Golf Estates Golf & Country Club, Emirates Golf Club, Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai, Arabian Ranches Golf Club and Topgolf Dubai will host a range of events, parties and fireworks displays.
Dubai’s sandy beaches will also take part in the New Year festivities, with iconic beach destinations such as Palm West Beach and Club Vista Mare offering the chance to take part in seasonal festivities. In addition, a number of Dubai’s top resorts are organising their own fireworks, events and parties to celebrate the arrival of 2023.
Families can choose from several locations to enjoy colourful exhibitions and seasonal extravaganzas: Dubai Creek, Al Seef, Global Village, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Dubai Festival City Mall and Town Square by Nshama. In addition, families and groups of all ages can celebrate the New Year in the desert at the unique Bab Al Shams Desert Resort and Al Khayma Desert Camp.
Visitors and residents can also look forward to the DSF drone light show at Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR, with performances at 8pm and 11pm. The free performances feature hundreds of drones that entertain the crowd with spectacular lights and display patterns and messages in the night sky. Visitors can take front-row seats at the many restaurants in the area.
The city is also lit up by the Dubai Lights exhibition, which showcases stunning art light installations from leading artists in the field at City Walk 2, The Pointe Nakheel Mall and Dubai Design District.
