Giant umbrella unfurled over Burj Khalifa
Social media in the United Arab Emirates is discussing an original weather video posted by Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
In the animated video, the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, the world’s tallest building, unfurls a giant umbrella with the #DubaiDestination logo to protect itself from the rain. In this way, Dubai authorities have once again reminded the public that winter in the Emirates is the coolest time of year to explore the local attractions.
It should be noted that apart from the colourful video, numerous photos of the waterlogged streets also appeared on social media this week. The last week of 2022 was cloudy and overcast in many parts of the United Arab Emirates. According to forecasters, the country will continue to experience cool weather with a high probability of rainfall.
