Ramadan Recipes Guide launched in Dubai
Brand Dubai has partnered with chefs, restaurants and cafes from Proudly from Dubai (PFD) chain to launch the fourth edition of the Ramadan Recipes Guide, featuring 30 original recipes for 30 days.
As part of the collaborative initiative, Brand Dubai has collected and compiled easy-to-prepare Ramadan recipes inspired by the menus of 10 outlets and 10 chefs to inspire the community with culinary creativity this Ramadan. The initiative aims to support PFD network members by increasing their visibility and giving them a platform to connect with their audiences in innovative ways.
Many of the recipes featured in this year’s Ramadan Recipes Guide are unique in concept and some combine traditional dishes with modern twists and international flavours.
The recipes provide a detailed step-by-step guide to preparing delicious sweet and savoury dishes for the whole family, including starters, soups, salads, main courses, desserts, snacks and suhur. This year’s guide also features healthy and nutritious recipes that are gluten-free and vegan.
The recipes cater for a wide range of tastes and are inspired by an eclectic variety of cuisines, including Mediterranean, Emirati, American, Italian, Mexican and Scandinavian.
Many of the recipes featured in the Ramadan Recipes Guide were developed by celebrity chefs who started out in Dubai and opened their own restaurants. These chefs, representing different nationalities, are also hugely popular on social media, and some have even won a Michelin star for their high quality dishes. These include: Chef Izu Ani; ‘twin chefs’ Abdulrahman and Maitha Waddah Al Hashmi; Chef Sumaya Obaid; Chef Karim Burghi; Chef Shaheen; Chef Saud Al Matrushi; Chef Maitha Al Warshaw; Chef Amna Al Hashemi; Chef Mohammad Al Banna; and Chef Arwa Lutah.
Venues participating in the initiative include Terra Eatery; TBK; Fat Uncle; The Bread Basket; Maria Bonita; Kona House Coffee; Honestry; Bageri Form; Mazmi Café; and Bait Maryam.
