Summer Rush at Al Mamzar Park
Dubai Municipality has launched the second season of the ‘Summer Rush’ entertainment event at Al Mamzar Beach Park, which started on 26 June and will run until 9 July 2023. The event was the result of the municipality’s efforts to organise leisure activities that promote happiness and positivity among members of the emirate’s community and revitalise Dubai’s parks during the summer season.
Ahmed Al Zarouni, director of Dubai Municipality’s Department of Public Parks and Recreational Facilities, said: “The second season of the Summer Rush event will take place during the Eid al-Adha holidays and the week that follows. The event is part of Dubai Municipality’s efforts to provide residents with a unique summer entertainment experience. The event will provide visitors with an enjoyable experience, allowing them to engage in various leisure activities during the Eid holidays. This reflects the Dubai Municipality’s commitment to encourage community initiatives in Dubai to support local tourism and enhance the overall well-being of all members of society.”
Al Zarouni also noted that the event will feature a wide range of summer-appropriate activities and entertainment, along with opportunities for family gatherings, swimming pools, water games and children’s entertainment activities, as well as a number of restaurants and cafes offering a range of food and beverages. As well as attractions and photo ops, the event will include entertainment for visitors and a parade on the beach.
The second edition of the ‘Summer Rush’ event will run from 3pm to 9pm on weekdays, including exclusive days for women, and 1pm to 10pm on weekends for all visitors. The event is expected to attract a large number of visitors as Al Mamzar Beach Park is one of the largest parks with great views of Dubai’s landmarks, covering 99 hectares of land and numerous recreational facilities.
