Rixos resort to be built on Dubai Islands
A five-star resort of the international hotel chain Rixos will be built on the new archipelago Dubai Islands off the coast of Dubai, the developer of the project Nakheel reported.
The developer has joined forces with Excelsior Real Estate to realise the project. The Rixos Dubai Islands, Hotel and Residences resort will be located in a secluded bay on the islands with a private 700-metre beach.
Both resort guests and residence owners will have access to a wide range of amenities such as lounges, popular cafes and restaurants, entertainment venues, panoramic pools, a spa and fitness centre.
Residences will be one, two and three-bedroom apartments with spacious terraces, four-bedroom duplexes with private pools, beach houses with private gardens and terraces, and ten luxury villas.
All residences will have sea views. The complex will include the family-friendly amenities for which Rixos is renowned, such as a kids’ club.
The Dubai Islands archipelago is five islands with a total area of 17 square kilometres, with 20 kilometres of beaches, in the north of Dubai. The developer previously announced the construction of 80 hotels on the islands, including luxury and health resorts, boutique hotels, family hotels and eco-friendly hotels.
Cultural and sports centres, beach clubs and an innovative transport system with easy access to the city and airport are planned to be built on each island, making the project more attractive to investors.
The residential neighbourhoods will also include parks, sports and playgrounds, and premium golf courses overlooking the Persian Gulf. Each island will have its own unique advantages.
