Emirates Draw announces the biggest cash prize in history

Popular lottery Emirates Draw has announced the draw for the biggest ever cash prize of AED 200 million. This is the biggest cash prize ever drawn in the UAE.

The prize can be won in the Mega7 category and you can enter the draw until 8:30pm on 31 December. To scoop the jackpot, you need to guess all seven numbers that will be drawn on Sunday. The top prize will be split between two or more entrants if they guess all the numbers at the same time.

Participants aged 18 and over can purchase an Emirates Draw Mega7 ticket anywhere in the world by visiting the website or using the app.

“This cash prize, unlike anything previously seen in the region, is perfect for the New Year. We hope someone will start 2024 on the cusp of good fortune by winning the top prize this Sunday,” said an Emirates Draw spokesperson.

The lottery gives each participant two chances to win with each ticket. “Even just matching 3 numbers out of 37 with 7 different choices is an achievable goal that will allow you to recoup some of the money you spent on trying,” said Paul Chader, Emirates Draw’s head of commercial operations.

During the New Year draw, 15 winners will receive AED 10,000 each, with the selection made randomly by IDs.

Winners can also choose to receive the entire winnings at once or collect them in instalments. “Given the diverse nature of our winners, they often fall into more than one category: some choose a lump sum, while others choose monthly payments over a certain period,” Mr Chader added.
