Dubai Mall launches Elite Personal Shopping Suite
Emaar Malls-operated Dubai Mall, the largest shopping and entertainment complex in Dubai, has announced the launch of a new retail centre, the Elite Personal Shopping Suite for personal shopping enthusiasts.
Elite Personal Shopping Suite is located in the Fashion Avenue section and guests will be guided by a team of certified stylists who will provide “personalised advice on wardrobe selection and grooming.”
The new service will offer the opportunity to select not only clothing, but also jewellery and original accessories from brands around the world. For those who are looking for exclusive gifts, there will be a “Gift Service” – it will find gifts for any occasion.
Earlier research by ServiceNow revealed that consumers in the United Arab Emirates are willing to abandon brands due to poor service. The study surveyed more than 1,000 consumers in the UAE and 18,000 people in 13 countries around the world.
85% of UAE respondents said that their brand loyalty had declined over the past two years. 91% of respondents decided to abandon a brand after unsatisfactory service, while a further 23% of shoppers said brand communication had disappointed them.
40% of respondents in the UAE are looking for cheaper substitutes for brands due to the rising cost of living, while 42% hopefully expect brands to lower prices. Three quarters of respondents, meanwhile, indicated that they have spent more money on shopping this year than last year.
According to ServiceNow, in order to retain customers, brands must stay “on top of their game”, which means providing customers with a positive experience – both when interacting with automated tools and in human interactions.
