Dubai updates the list of city beaches

Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism has refreshed the list of city beaches ahead of the new tourist season.

The 1.7 kilometre long beach at Jumeirah Beach Residence is one of the most popular and well-maintained beaches in Dubai. It offers everything for a relaxing holiday in the sun and water sports, including The Beach open-air shopping centre, beach equipment hire, cafes and restaurants.

The 14km long Kite Beach is a popular spot for outdoor activities, beach walks and water sports. It offers bicycle hire, kitesurfing and surfing equipment, sports courts, cafes and restaurants. The beach is equipped for night swimming

Jumeirah Public Beach is equally popular with families with children and outdoor enthusiasts. The Kite n Surf Club offers full kitesurfing, paddleboarding and kayaking equipment for hire and the Sunset Mall is nearby. The beach is also equipped for night swimming.

Al Mamzar Beach Park with a total area of 106 hectares is one of the most popular family holiday destinations in Dubai, featuring landscaped beaches with green lawns, pedestrian areas and bicycle paths, swimming pools, a playground for children and an amphitheatre where entertainment events are held.

Dubai Islands Beach is a popular destination that is enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. This beach has kayak and paddleboard rentals, football and beach volleyball courts, and is also pet-friendly.

As you know, a beach and restaurant complex will open in September on the site of La Mer Beach – it will be called J1 Beach. The new coastal zone will include 13 restaurants and several beach clubs.
