Five Iron Golf starts welcoming guests in Dubai
American golf club and entertainment centre Five Iron Golf has opened in Dubai at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. The club is the brand’s pilot project in the UAE and covers an area of more than 32,038 square feet.
The venue is equipped with 17 top-level golf simulators, with each bay featuring a Five Iron polygon camera system to analyse strokes. Six bays are equipped with TruGolf Multisport technology – for those looking to diversify their sporting experience.
The golf club is designed for both beginners and those looking to improve their skills. Five Iron Golf includes four bars, a nine-hole miniature golf course and a lounge area for VIP members. Guests can work out indoors with a private pool, three simulators and bar, an indoor golf course and board games.
Earlier in Dubai announced the opening of a branch of the famous London club Swingers Crazy Golf with a concept ‘for adults only’ – it is planned for 2024 on the island Bluewaters. Crazy Golf is the British term for miniature golf with a variety of additions. The historic Swingers facility looks like an English country club with plants and trees.
The venue will draw golf ‘victims’ with delicious street food, sensational cocktails and first-class service in an original theatre setting. In London, the establishment offers bottomless brunch, unlimited drinks and special offers for large companies. The first establishment opened in 2014, with branches currently operating in the UK and the US.
