Apple unveils iPhone 16 pricing in UAE
Apple unveiled the much-anticipated iPhone 16 with artificial intelligence at the Apple Glowtime 2024 event held in California. The tech giant also revealed the pricing details of the new models in the UAE market.
Pre-orders will start being taken this Friday, 13 September, while official sales on Apple’s UAE website will begin on 20 September.
The iPhone, which feature the new A18 chip for improved performance and efficiency, will be priced at AED 3,399 and AED 3,799 for the base model. Both models feature a new camera control button and an innovative Action button for quick access to various functions.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max were also announced with larger displays – 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively. The iPhone 16 Pro will be priced at AED 4,299, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be priced at AED 5,099 for the base model in the UAE.
The iPhone 16 Pro boasts the thinnest bezels ever seen on an Apple product and introduces a new colour option, Desert Titanium, which replaces blue. The iPhone 16 Pro is powered by the A18 Pro chip and features improved performance and efficiency.
The iPhone 16 Pro now features a camera with a 5x telephoto lens, which was previously exclusive to the Pro Max model. It also features a 48MP main camera and a new ultra-wide-angle camera. This model supports 4K video recording at 120 frames per second, which can’t fail to please video enthusiasts.
The new iPhone integrates Apple Intelligence, a revolutionary artificial intelligence system that will be available in beta as a free software update next month. This AI improves camera performance with Visual Intelligence, allowing users to effortlessly take macro and spatial photos and videos.
