Dubai updates list of best food halls
Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism has updated the list of food halls for residents and visitors to the emirate. The concept, within the framework of which it is possible to taste dishes from different parts of the world on one site, is gaining popularity in the emirate.
Depachika Foodhall in Nakheel Mall includes Lime Tree Cafe, Salmontini Restaurant, Moishi Ice Cream, Sugarmoo Confectionery and others. It is also home to Depachika Cooking Studio, which hosts cookery masterclasses and tastings.
One of Dubai’s leading food halls, Time Out Market in Souk Al Bahar has an outdoor terrace overlooking the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain, a weekly programme of events and live music. There are both permanent restaurants and temporary pop-ups showcasing a variety of international culinary concepts.
Market Island has opened its doors at Dubai Festival City Mall. It is home to more than 50 diverse restaurants. The South Market Foodhall in Gate Avenue brings together popular Japanese restaurants Spheerz Restaurant and Takoyaki, Egyptian street food café Bahiya, Asian pastry shop MAD and Cereal Killer Café.
