Atlantis The Royal enters the top 10 best worldwide
Atlantis The Royal, a five-star resort located on The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, has been ranked 9th on the list of the world’s best hotels and picked up the Highest Climber Award 2024 nomination after climbing 35 places in one year.
The World’s 50 Best Hotels awards ceremony took place in London, with fifty of the world’s best resorts receiving awards. The first place was awarded to Capella Bangkok Hotel overlooking the Chao Praya River in Thailand. The rating is based on the votes of 600 anonymous experts.
The voting panel is traditionally made up of a balanced mix of hoteliers, travel journalists, educators and experienced luxury travellers and is chaired by the chairmen of industry academies.
The Atlantis The Royal resort, a worthy representation of Dubai, offers 795 suites and signature penthouses for guest accommodation and is renowned for its panoramic pools, celebrity chef restaurants and fire-breathing fountains.
The top 50 included hotels located in Italy, Hong Kong, Tokyo, the Maldives, Paris and luxury holiday destinations around the world.
Atlantis The Royal, representing the Gulf, was joined by the recently opened The Lana in Dubai and the popular Six Senses Zighy Bay on the Musandam Peninsula in Oman. These resorts ranked 23rd and 45th respectively in the rankings.
