Sheikha Mara reveals photo with daughter

Her Highness Sheikha Mara Al Maktoum, daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has shared photos of her grown up daughter on social media.

The photo, captioned ‘Mara’ and featuring the Evil Eye emoji, which is traditionally considered a protection against the evil eye, was posted on her Instagram page.

Sheikha Mara has shared several photos and selfies with her daughter on her social media accounts over the past few months.

Another image shows mother and daughter spending time on a park bench.

The baby girl was born on Wednesday, 1 May 2024. The father of the newborn, Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum, announced the beautiful event on social media. He also announced that she was named Mara in honour of her mother. The name has a deep meaning in Arabic and is often associated with beauty, elegance and grace.

In July 2024, Sheikha Mara announced her divorce via Instagram. On the page, where she now has over a million followers, the Dubai princess wrote a short statement addressed to her husband in which she repeated the phrase three times that she was getting a divorce.
