Farmers’ Market opens registration for new season
Dubai Municipality has officially opened registration for the fourth season of Farmers’ Market, which will run from 7 December 2024 to 22 February 2025 at Quranic Park.
This annual event has become one of Dubai’s key community events, providing Emirati farmers with a platform to showcase and sell organic products.
The market is part of Dubai Municipality’s mission to promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life in the emirate, with a particular focus on supporting local agriculture.
Ahmed Al Zarooni, Director of Public Parks and Recreation at Dubai Municipality, said, ‘The Farmers’ Market is one of the most important annual events organised in Dubai Parks. It has a unique character as it combines social and investment aspects. The market gives farmers the opportunity to showcase and sell their products directly to the public.’
Mr Al Zarooni also added: ‘The third season of the market was a huge success, with 42 Emirati farmers participating and more than 37,000 visitors during the market, which took place every Saturday for 13 weeks. We invite Emirati farmers and owners of agricultural projects, large and small, to take advantage of this opportunity and register to participate in the upcoming season.’
Dubai Municipality is providing a number of facilities for the Market participants, including specially equipped stalls to display produce.
