Zozo, could you please tell us how your journey in jewelry design began?
My love for jewelry appeared at a very young age. I have always been fascinated by how jewelry can convey emotions and preserve memories. In 2000, I started creating my own designs in the UAE, a place I consider my second home. With the support of my husband, we were able to combine family traditions of jewelry design and production with modern elements of style and innovation.
What are your main sources of inspiration when creating new collections?
My inspiration is a combination of cultural heritage, modern trends, and nature. I also pay a lot of attention to feedback from my clients and the wishes of my followers. Amber, which I use, is itself a source of inspiration due to its history and the energies it is believed to bring.
What challenges do you face in the jewelry business industry?
The main challenge is the constant evolution of market trends and customer needs, which requires flexibility and innovative thinking. It is also necessary to balance between traditions and modern technologies to remain competitive.
What are your future plans for your brand?
I see Kahramana Jewellery as a globally recognized luxury brand known for its craftsmanship and aesthetics. I also aim to implement sustainable practices and continue collaborating with major designers and retailers worldwide.
Zozo, what do you think is in store for the jewelry industry in the future?
I believe the future of the jewelry industry will focus on personalization, sustainability, and innovation. Technological advancements, such as augmented reality, are transforming the customer experience, and I am excited to be part of this evolution.
What advice would you give to aspiring designers and entrepreneurs in the jewelry field?
I would advise them to identify their unique niche and always stay true to their style. Care about product quality and establishing trustful relationships with your clients and partners. Flexibility and a readiness to learn are keys to success.
