Gold-plated Tesla Cybertruck to be raffled off in Dubai
Dubai has launched a unique lottery in which participants will be able to win a Tesla Cybertruck covered with 24-carat gold. This raffle is being held as part of the jewellery market’s Gold Souk Extension initiative.
From 14 November to 29 December, customers who make purchases of at least AED 500 at participating shops will be eligible to win one raffle ticket. The winner will be announced at the end of December and will receive a prize of an electric car that features a futuristic design and innovative technology.
While the exact cost of the gold-plated Cybertruck has not been disclosed, a similar car without the gold plating is estimated to be priced around AED 490,000 in the market.
Gold Souk Extension is an important part of the Deira neighbourhood development project and will offer customers more than 300 shops, creating new shopping and cultural opportunities in Dubai.
It is worth recalling that in June this year, the Dubai Police added a futuristic Tesla Cybertruck to its fleet of supercars. The emirate’s Police General Command unveiled this modern addition to its luxury patrol fleet, emphasising that the city is moving towards advanced technology for policing.
Patrol officers showcased the sleek electric vehicle with a unique number 5 on social media. The Cybertruck has a distinctive angular design, and is made of heavy-duty 30X cold-rolled stainless steel for exceptional durability and protection against dents and corrosion.
The spacious vehicle can accommodate up to six adults. The cabin features a 17-inch touchscreen display that provides access to the vehicle’s controls and infotainment system.
