Children’s camps start operating in Dubai

As the winter holidays approach, children’s camps are starting to open in Dubai. Many of them accept kids up to the age of 6, making them ideal for parents looking for fun and learning-based activities for their children.

At Camp Dibber, children will explore, discover and develop skills through snowball games and baking festive treats. Each day will conclude with a story reading in a cosy atmosphere. The camp is for children up to 6 years old and will be open from 16 to 31 December. The cost starts from AED 245 per day.

At the Numu Nursery camp, children will learn winter traditions from Paris, Beijing and New York through hands-on activities. The camp accepts children aged between 45 days and five years. It will run from 16 to 27 December, with costs starting from AED 900 per week.

The bilingual Green Grass Nursery will offer children the perfect winter activity, from outdoor activities to developing self-expression skills and confidence. There will also be a winter show each week with a juggler, bubble show and magician. The camp welcomes children from 1 to 6 years old and will run from 16 to 29 December.

This year at Fairy Tales Camp at Chubby Cheeks Nursery, children under 5 will be learning phonics, maths, yoga, arts and crafts, science and public speaking skills. The camp will run until 31 December. Cost starts from AED 250 per week.

Creative Nest Nursery camp will offer children under 6 years old to immerse themselves in the fairytale worlds of The Gruffalo and Snail and Whale with forest activities, cookery, arts and crafts and outdoor adventures. The camp will be open from 16 December to 3 January. The cost starts from AED 500.

At the Handprint ECC camp, children will enjoy football, basketball, arts and crafts, and snow play. The camp is for children from 2 to 6 years old. The camp will run from 16 to 20 December, with costs starting from AED 280 per day.

Using crafts and sensory activities at the Jumeirah International Nurseries camp, kids from 45 days to 6 years old will learn about the diversity of the environment as they discover the deserts, oases, wadis and urban trails of the UAE. The camp will run from 16 December to 3 January, with costs starting from AED 900 per week.

With Redwood Centre of Excellence, children from 3 months to 6 years old will embark on an educational journey through the Arctic world. They will build igloos, have obstacle races and watch the northern lights in a cosy planetarium. The camp will be open from 16 December to 3 January, with costs starting from AED 842.

Camp Redwood Montessori will offer children from 3 months to 6 years old outdoor activities including treasure hunts, insect watching, music, a play kitchen, a dress-up day and games in the snow. The camp starts from AED 1,050 and will be open from 16 December to 3 January.

Willow Nursery’s three weeks of camp will focus on fun and learning in arts, science and social skills. From drumming, nature walks, sled races and ice fishing, it’s a world of winter learning and fun for children from 3 months to 6 years old. The camp will be open from 16 December to 3 January, with costs starting from AED 842.
