Twelve new hotels to open in UAE in 2025

As the UAE’s tourism sector continues to grow at a rapid pace, so does the number of hotels opening. With twelve new hotels set to open in 2025, UAE visitors are eagerly awaiting the opening of these new hotels.

In Q1 of the new year, the Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, located next to the famous Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab, will open in Dubai. This hotel will have 386 rooms and 82 luxury residences, as well as five swimming pools and 11 restaurants.

Mandarin Oriental Downtown will be the chain’s second hotel in Dubai and third in the UAE. Located in Wasl Tower, the hotel will offer 259 rooms and suites and 224 residences, as well as multiple restaurants and a helipad.

The Ciel, Vignette Collection by IHG Hotels, located in Dubai Marina, will be the tallest hotel in the world (365 metres). It will have more than 1,000 rooms, a landscape pool and an observatory.

Zuhha Resort Villas on Zuha Island, located 12 minutes by boat from Jumeirah, will offer 30 private residences and 70 luxury villas with private pools and access to a private beach.

In Abu Dhabi, the Straylight Yas complex will combine six hotels into one resort with 1,389 rooms and direct beach access, with a retail area and outdoor theatre also planned for the area.

Al Nawras Island will offer guests 80 villas and a luxury royal villa. The resort will feature a golf course, three swimming pools, a high-end gym and fitness studio, tennis courts, as well as a marina and a private beach that will be ideal for jogging.

Earth Mangroves Hotel will be located within Abu Dhabi’s Mangrove Reserve and will offer 41 bungalows naturally blended into the surrounding landscape. Guests will be able to enjoy paddleboarding, yoga and meditation in a forest setting.

Abu Dhabi will also see the opening of Mondrian Abu Dhabi Hotel, located on the waterfront in the city centre. overlooking Reem Island and Al Maryah Island. It will offer guests six restaurants and bars, a spa and wellness centre, gym, kids club and panoramic lagoon. Also in the UAE capital, the first Waldorf Astoria Abu Dhabi will open and offer 167 rooms with a personal concierge, as well as restaurants and a spa.

In Ras Al Khaimah, Earth Shore will open on Marjan Island, targeting family holidays. Lux Al Bridi Resort will open in Sharjah, offering a unique glamping experience surrounded by wildlife, while Lux Al Jabal Resort in Khor Fakkan will emphasise ecology and offer a variety of active entertainment.
