Challenge535353 charity event took place in Dubai
Challenge535353, a charity project organised by the I Love Supersport team, has successfully concluded in Dubai. From 20 to 22 December 2024, more than one hundred swimmers, runners and cyclists joined forces at the Hamdan Sports Complex to help five-year-old Feroz, who was born with a hearing impairment. The campaign aimed to raise Dh100,000 to fund a cochlear implant that will give the boy the ability to hear.
The initiative, which coincided with the 53rd anniversary of the United Arab Emirates, not only exceeded expectations in terms of the number of participants, but also inspired many people to lead active and healthy lifestyles. Over the course of Challenge535353, participants covered significant distances: 146.68 kilometres in swimming, 1414.1 kilometres in cycling and 601.64 kilometres in running, totalling 2162.42 kilometres.
The project was supported by Kibsons, Paramed International, Monviso Water, Tokio Marine Insurance UAE, Al Jalila Foundation, Yallagive, and the Dubai Sports Council. The enthusiasm of the participants and sponsors attracted a wide variety of people, emphasising the power of unity for a good cause.
Marina Mustafina, CEO of Team I Love Supersport, said, ‘We are truly touched by the tremendous efforts of everyone who took part in the campaign. This campaign was not only an important milestone in the life of Feroz, but also demonstrated the spirit of generosity and determination in the UAE community.’
Although the event has come to an end, donations are still being accepted to further support Feroz. You can make a contribution HERE (IACAD number PRHCE-00359015).
