Dubai gears up for new hotels opening

Several landmark hotels are scheduled to open in Dubai in 2025. The Ciel Tower Hotel, located in the prestigious Dubai Marina district, will not only be the tallest hotel in the world (365 metres), but also a new symbol of luxury and elegance. It will feature three restaurants, Dubai’s highest panoramic pool, fitness centre, spa, club lounge, bar and lounge with observation deck.

Fairmont Dubai’s third property, Fairmont Dubai Skyline, will be located along Sheikh Zayed Highway in the heart of Dubai. The unique architecture is an important distinguishing feature of this hotel. The hotel will feature a collection of 122 luxury residences. These include 2-3 bedroom apartments, four 4-bedroom Sky Mansions on half a floor and two 4-bedroom Sky Palaces on a full floor.

The heart-shaped Honeymoon Island Dubai is part of the larger The Heart of Europe project. The floating honeymoon villas will be connected to the main island by a bridge and jetties. Resort guests will have access to the amenities of the Tzar Hotel.

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will offer guests the luxury and elegance of a global premium brand. The resort will feature 386 rooms, 11 restaurants, 4 bars, 5 swimming pools, a world-class spa, a private sandy beach and a superyacht marina with 82 berths. Bookings open from 14 March 2025.

Mama Shelter is a Paris-based hotel brand with branches in London and Prague. The Dubai hotel will feature 197 rooms, each with an unusual design style. Bookings are available from 20 January 2025.

Mandarin Oriental’s second hotel in Dubai, located in Wasl Tower on City Walk, will feature 229 suites and 258 hotel rooms. Hotel guests will have access to a rooftop bar, swimming pool, lobby lounge, patisserie, Mandarin Oriental’s signature restaurant and fitness centre.

The new Moxy Downtown Dubai hotel will also feature Moxy brand signature spaces such as Library Library and The Welcome area, as well as a fully-equipped fitness centre, THE GYM. All rooms will feature the most practical layout, advanced touchscreen technology and fast Wi-Fi. The hotel’s public areas will feature industrial chic décor, including a rooftop bar and restaurant with views of Dubai city centre, as well as a bowling club and swimming pool.

Six Senses Residences The Palm, the brand’s first property in the UAE, will be located on the western crescent of Palm Jumeirah Island and will offer 61 hotel rooms, 162 signature residences, a spacious spa, a longevity clinic and more.
