Dubai launches daily cash draws
The winter Dubai Shopping Festival will start in a few weeks, but the draws have already started. Thus, until December 8, the organisers will draw 10 thousand dirhams daily among residents and guests of Dubai.
Starting from 8 December, the value of daily cash draws prizes will increase 10 times and will amount to 100 thousand dirhams, which shoppers will be able to win on any day until the end of the shopping festival on 14 January 2024.
In addition, shoppers will have the chance to go home in a brand new Nissan Patrol V6 worth AED 200 thousand during the festival days – the SUVs will be raffled off between 9 December and 14 January. The grand prize of AED 500,000 will be taken away by one lucky winner on the last day of the Dubai Shopping Festival.
To enter, shoppers must purchase a AED 100 raffle ticket at any ENOC petrol station in person or via the Idealz website or app. Shoppers can purchase tickets at the Golden Market and at kiosks and shopping centres across the city.
Lottery coupons will be issued to anyone who makes a purchase of AED 25 or more at ZOOM shops or an ENOC service station. A purchase of AED 50 or more at Autopro or Tasjeel will also give customers the opportunity to receive a lottery ticket.
In 2023, the Dubai Shopping Festival will kick off earlier than usual: as Dubai Festivals and Retail Estate (DFRE) previously announced, it will start as early as December 8 and run until January 14, 2024.
Thus, the shopping extravaganza, which will be the 29th time the emirate will welcome the festival, will last 38 days and will affect all districts of Dubai. On 15 December, Arab stars Ahlam Al Shamsi and Assala Nasri will perform at the Coca-Cola Arena.
Popular street culture festival Sole DXB will return with live performances celebrating 50 years of hip-hop – it will be part of the Dubai Shopping Festival for the first time and will take place from 8-10 December in Dubai Design District.
Earthsoul Fest will include raucous comedy shows headlined by prominent comedians. In addition, Dubai residents and visitors can expect concerts by Kazim Al Saher, Omar Khairat, George Wassouf and Majid Al Mohandis.
Traditionally, shoppers will be treated to sales, discounts, special prizes, new pavilions with exclusive locally produced goods and much more.
