Bright 2024 in Dubai

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism has published a list of ideas and opportunities for a bright and memorable meeting of 2024. As you know, the most popular attractions will delight residents and guests of the emirate with festive fireworks.

This year a grandiose light show will be held at the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. It is most convenient to watch the New Year’s Eve performance from neighbouring restaurants or near Dubai Mall. Burj Park will be equipped with a special festive platform with a view of fireworks, additional entertainment programme and gastropubs.

In addition, residents and visitors to the city will be able to view the fireworks display at Bluewaters Island, Dubai Festival City Mall and Atlantis Resort, The Palm.

Another good location to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks is on the deck of a yacht. On a New Year’s Eve cruise along the coast, you can see several pyrotechnic shows at once.

It is quite an exotic idea to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the desert, i.e. to go on a New Year’s safari or to a resort located among sand dunes. You can also spend New Year’s Eve outdoors: the Hatta Wadi Hub offers mountain biking, kayaking and hiking.

Those interested in Dubai’s culture and traditions will be interested in visiting Hatta Fort and the Heritage Village. You can spend the night in a comfortable campsite or at one of the many resorts to watch the first dawn of 2024 in the morning.
