Dubai to get new highest restaurant ever
Dubai has announced the construction of a new skyscraper in which a restaurant and landscape pool will be raised to an unprecedented height. The Tiger Sky Tower, to be erected in central Dubai, will be 532 metres high, making it the world’s tallest residential building.
In comparison, the famous Central Park Tower in New York is 472 metres tall, while the Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences skyscraper under construction in Dubai is expected to reach 557 metres. Tiger Sky Tower is expected to be operational in 2028.
The new building will get a restaurant at 439 metres, making it the world’s highest-altitude building, a landscape pool will be raised to 431 metres above ground and a rainforest at 447 metres. A cable car will run through the forest – at a height of 447 metres.
Tiger Sky Tower will be built near the D3 district, five minutes from the Dubai Canal and 14 minutes from Dubai Mall. The amenity portfolio will include a gym, spa, jogging track, children’s playground, cigar lounge and retail shops. Flats with 1-4 bedrooms start from AED 2.2 million.
Hotel brand Six Senses previously unveiled plans to build a new project in Dubai Marina area of Dubai – Six Senses Residences complex will be the world’s tallest residential building.
The skyscraper is expected to be 122 storeys high and will be completed by 2028. The project was announced following the commissioning of the Six Senses Hotel at The Palm Jumeirah.
To be built in conjunction with Dubai-based property developer Select Group, the 251 residences that will be built as part of the project will be significantly different from the residences that are already present in Dubai.
The project will focus on healthy living and a holistic approach to human wellbeing, which will be evident in the architecture and all interior details. This will include owners will be able to order signature Sleep With Six Senses bedrooms with touchscreen fitness equipment and a wellness wardrobe.
