Dubai Safari Park announces start date for sixth season
Dubai Safari Park has announced the start date for its sixth season: this year it will begin on 1 October. According to Dubai Municipality (DM), the park has undergone significant changes during the summer off-season. More details about the new entertainment and attractions will be announced in the coming weeks, the municipality said.
Ahmad Al Zarouni, director of the municipality’s public parks and recreational facilities department, said: ‘The opening of the new season will mark a new stage in Dubai’s ongoing efforts to boost tourism: we will give visitors to the emirate the opportunity to experience wildlife in a completely new way for the region.’
According to the municipality, visitors can explore the park either on foot or by shuttle, which connects six unique themed zones. Each zone not only features a variety of animals, but also educational and informative activities. In addition, the popular live presentations by expert zoologists will return, allowing you to learn about the wonders of the animal world in a fun way.
Dubai Safari Park is home to more than 3,000 animals representing 78 species of mammals, 50 species of reptiles and 111 species of birds. As the sixth season begins, visitors can explore the park’s vast landscape and interact with a variety of animals in an environment designed to meet the needs of each species.
In addition to Dubai Safari Park, another popular holiday destination has also announced an opening date. Global Village will be open from 16 October. This important leisure destination for residents and visitors to the emirate will be open until 11 May 2025.
