Dubai Opera announce programme for the season

The Dubai Opera, the main cultural center of the Middle East, has announced a broad artistic program for the 2024-2025 season, including more than 50 international performances. The new season will attract a diverse audience, and make a significant contribution to the cultural and economic landscape of the emirate.
More than 1,000 artists will be on stage throughout the season: Dubai Opera aims to cater for a wide range of artistic tastes and cultural preferences. «We are delighted to return with a truly inclusive season, in which there is something for every taste», – said Paolo Petrocelli, head of Dubai Opera.
During the opening week, guests will attend the opera «Aida» – from 13 to 15 September 2024, the ballet «Giselle» – from 18 to 21 September, and the concert «Ninth Symphony of Beethoven» – 22 September.
In addition, residents and guests of the emirate will be able to enjoy the opera «Evgeny Onegin» – from 20 to 21 September 2024, performance LA Dance Project with the suite «Romeo and Juliet» – from 17 to 18 October, ballets «Nutcracker» – from 19 to 22 December, Modanse – 15 January 2025, «Bakernica» – February 14-16, «Tango after dark» – April 26-27, «Carmina Burana» – May 23-24, The Pulse (Modern circus) – May 9-11 and STOMP – May 29-31, 2025.
Fans of symphonic and chamber music will also find a rich program: Max Richter: The Four Seasons Recomposed – 1 November 2024, The Limitless Orchestra: From Strauss to Zimmer – 4 – 5 January 2025, Rekeim Mozart – 18 February 2025 and Max Richter – February 26, 2025.
In addition, on the stage of the Dubai opera will be shown musicals Umm Kulthum & The Golden Era – 12-13 October 2024, «Singing in the rain» – from 30 November to 14 December and «Sweeney Todd» – from 1 to 8 February 2025.

Also, within the framework of the new season in Dubai Opera will be held special events: New Year’s Eve 2025 with Steam Steelar – 31 December 2024, Symphonic Rock Edition – 17-19 January 2025, International Music Festival InClassica – from 6 to 25 April 2025, Blue Note Records – International Jazz Day – April 30, 2025 and Music Week – May 15-18, 2025.
