Dubai Miracle Garden opens its doors to guests
Dubai’s favourite family theme park and the world’s largest flower garden, Dubai Miracle Garden (DMG), opens its doors to guests. The 13th season kicked off on 28 September.
DMG officials said the entrance fee has been made cheaper for UAE residents. By presenting an Emirates ID, adults and children can enter the flower park for AED 60 each – AED 5 less than last year. Children under the age of three get in for free.
However, for tourists, ticket prices have conversely increased by AED 5 – they now cost AED 100 for adults and AED 85 for children. Children under the age of three also get in for free, even if they are not UAE residents.
In addition, DMG officials said they will start accepting online ticket bookings from 28 September.
DMG is described as the largest natural flower garden in the world, displaying more than 150 million natural flowers of around 120 varieties every year. The garden has different themed areas inspired by popular events and famous characters.
DMG’s permanent exhibit is a mock-up of an Emirates A380 aircraft. The composition of approximately 500,000 live flowers and plants is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Located in Dubailand, Dubai Miracle Garden first opened on Valentine’s Day, 14 February. This season, the family-friendly holiday destination will be open daily from 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday; and 9am to 11pm on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and public holidays.
