Dubai Lights art exhibition reopens

For the duration of the Winter Shopping Festival, from 6 December 2024 to 12 January 2025, Dubai will once again become a canvas for artists, designers and architects from around the world whose interactive light installations during Dubai Lights art exhibition will transform Al Seef, Al Marmoom, Bluewaters and Dubai Design District.

The main aim of the Dubai Lights exhibition is to turn Dubai into an open-air museum where people can interact with contemporary art, experience new experiences and, of course, take spectacular photos.

The installations are created by international and local artists, providing an opportunity for cultural dialogue and exchange of ideas between different countries and traditions. Entrance is free of charge.

Earlier, the JBR Winter Nights festival returned to The Walk promenade at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), a favourite destination for Dubai residents and visitors in every season.

Festival events will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 31 December. Guests will be treated to film screenings under the stars. The programme includes a collection of popular films and cartoons including Aladdin, Home Alone 1, Cold Heart and more.

For guests with children there will be master-classes for making crafts, as well as board games. In addition, visitors can expect entertainment: themed parades and live performances.

On 31 December at 22:00, 23:00 and 00:00 there will be a large-scale parade in honour of the New Year. Participation in the festival is free of charge.
