Dubai Police adds Haddad smart boat to fleet
Dubai Police, known for its innovative and high-tech approach to security, has added a new smart boat called Haddad to its fleet, which was unveiled for the first time at the COP28 International Climate Summit.
The event was a major milestone for the environmental initiative, which includes a number of new projects announced at this significant event.
The name ‘Haddad’ translates from Arabic as ‘blacksmith’, symbolising strength, craftsmanship and the ability to create something new. This boat is not just another addition to the fleet, but an important step towards realising the ambitious goal of contributing to the Zero Carbon Police Force initiative, which aims to achieve zero emissions by 2030.
‘Haddad not only emphasises environmental friendliness, but also carries practical functions through state-of-the-art technologies such as self-management and remote monitoring, making it a prime example of combining sustainability and innovation.’
Dubai Police’s exhibition at COP28, including the Haddad presentation, emphasised the growing trend of integrating sustainable solutions into various spheres of life. The police are actively working on a multitude of projects, from smart stables to environmentally friendly ammunition disposal, demonstrating that they are taking environmental and sustainability issues seriously.
It is important to note that the success of initiatives such as Haddad will be judged by their actual performance in the future. In this context, the smart boat can become not only a symbol of progress, but also an important tool in ensuring safety and environmental protection.
