Abu Dhabi Unveils Official Logo for Open Masters Games 2026

The Higher Organizing Committee, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has revealed the official logo for the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026, marking a significant milestone in the lead-up to the major sporting event. The design captures the UAE’s rich heritage, drawing inspiration from the country’s diverse landscapes—deserts, mountains, and coastal waters—to symbolize resilience, ambition, and national values of tolerance and inclusivity. Architectural motifs resembling rolling dunes and ocean waves further emphasize the nation’s enduring spirit and forward-looking vision.

Sheikh Theyab emphasized that hosting the Open Masters Games aligns with the UAE leadership’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and longevity, transcending age and cultural boundaries. The event underscores the country’s strategic investments in sports and its growing reputation as a premier destination for global competitions. “We welcome athletes worldwide to celebrate movement, unity, and excellence,” he stated, promising an unforgettable experience rooted in tolerance and harmony.

Scheduled from February 6 to 15, 2026, the games are poised to become the Middle East’s largest multi-sport event, attracting over 25,000 participants competing across 33 disciplines. The lineup includes team sports like football, basketball, and rugby; individual events such as athletics, swimming, and cycling; martial arts like judo and jiu-jitsu; water sports including sailing and kayaking; and traditional Emirati activities like camel racing.

The logo’s unveiling signals Abu Dhabi’s readiness to deliver a landmark event that bridges cultures and celebrates human potential, further solidifying the UAE’s role as a hub for international sporting excellence.
