Abu Dhabi Debuts First Dedicated Night Beach for Moonlit Swimming

Seeking refuge from the scorching daytime sun, residents and tourists in Abu Dhabi now have a captivating new option: the emirate’s first dedicated night beach. Marsana Night, situated on the sands of Marsana East Beach on Hudayriyat Island, officially opened its doors on July 1st, offering a unique opportunity to experience the Arabian Gulf under the moonlight. This innovative concept will operate nightly until September 30th, providing a summer-long escape during the cooler evening hours.

The primary allure of Marsana Night is the chance to swim and relax by the water after dark, a novel experience within Abu Dhabi’s public beach offerings. Safety and comfort are paramount at the new venue. Dedicated lifeguards are on duty throughout operating hours to ensure swimmer safety. To enhance the visitor experience, the beach is equipped with comfortable sun loungers for relaxation. Dining options are available with on-site restaurants, allowing guests to enjoy refreshments or meals without leaving the beach atmosphere. Thoughtful amenities like mini-refrigerators stocked with water are also provided for convenience.

Access to Marsana Night is via a paid entry system, with ticket prices varying depending on the day of the week:

• Monday – Thursday:50 AED for adults (12 years and above), 25 AED for children (6-11 years old).
• Weekends (Friday-Sunday) & Public Holidays:100 AED for adults, 50 AED for children.
  Children under six years old enjoy free admission. Operating hours are tailored to the different pace of the week:
• Weekdays (Monday – Thursday):Open from sunset until 10:00 PM.
• Weekends (Friday-Sunday) & Public Holidays:Open from sunset until midnight.
