Cheval Blanc to Debut First Gulf Resort on Dubai’s Naïa Island
LVMH’s prestigious hospitality brand Cheval Blanc will establish its inaugural Gulf property on the pristine Naïa Island off Jumeirah’s coastline, with Dubai-based investment firm Shamal Holding leading the development. Scheduled for completion in 2029, this ultra-exclusive retreat will introduce the French luxury brand’s signature elegance to the Emirates’ hospitality landscape.
The resort will feature 70 discreet accommodations blending architectural refinement with natural surroundings – including 30 suites and 40 private villas, each with swimming pools and the brand’s distinctive aesthetic that balances contemporary luxury with timeless sophistication. The property will also offer branded beachfront residences combining private ownership with access to Cheval Blanc’s renowned personalized service.
Environmental sensitivity forms a cornerstone of the development, with plans emphasizing preservation of the island’s native landscapes and green spaces. The resort will incorporate a yacht marina, comprehensive spa and wellness facilities, and dining venues designed to complement rather than compete with the natural environment. This approach reflects the brand’s philosophy of creating harmonious connections between luxury and location.
Cheval Blanc Naïa Island marks a strategic expansion for the brand, following its successful properties in Courchevel, Saint-Tropez, and the Maldives. The Dubai development represents a carefully considered addition to the portfolio, reinforcing the emirate’s position as a global magnet for discerning travelers while maintaining the brand’s exclusive positioning. Upon opening, the resort will set new benchmarks for understated luxury in a market traditionally associated with opulence, offering an alternative vision of high-end hospitality rooted in privacy, natural beauty, and artful simplicity.
