First UAE Casino Resort Begins Historic Hiring Spree

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort with a gaming facility in the United Arab Emirates, has initiated a large-scale recruitment campaign ahead of its scheduled 2027 opening in Ras Al Khaimah. The resort’s official career portal now lists 101 open positions across various departments, marking a significant milestone for the hospitality and tourism sector in the region.

The job listings include a historic vacancy for a Casino Manager – Table Games Operations, the first such role in the history of the Persian Gulf. This manager will be responsible for ensuring game integrity, regulatory compliance, and overseeing pit managers and gaming staff. Additional duties involve managing the card tracking system, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining inventory of gaming equipment like cards and dice. The position requires a minimum of five years of experience in table games or casino management.

The resort is also seeking a Pit Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards. Beyond the gaming floor, the hiring spree extends to culinary leadership roles, including head chefs for renowned restaurants like Delilah and a steakhouse by Alain Ducasse. Other notable openings include a Director of Floristry, a Director of Nightlife, and an administrative assistant specifically for the casino operations.

The project will be led by President Max Topainer, formerly the head of Wynn Las Vegas. The company has also indicated that approximately 200 specialists from Wynn’s international divisions will relocate to the UAE within six months of the resort’s opening. The massive 60-hectare complex will feature 24 restaurants, a retail esplanade, 12 pools, a white-sand beach, and a range of hotel rooms, private suites, and villas. This recruitment drive signals the accelerating development of a project set to redefine luxury tourism in the UAE.
