A Night of Operatic Splendor Comes to Dubai Opera This Christmas
This festive season, Dubai Opera is set to host an evening of unparalleled classical music excellence. On December 3rd, Berin Iglesias Art presents a spectacular Christmas Gala, bringing the finest traditions of Italian opera to the heart of the city under the patronage of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The gala, curated by the international arts producer, promises a refined journey through the most beloved masterpieces of the operatic canon. The performance will feature a world-class lineup of soloists, headlined by two of Italy’s most celebrated tenors: the acclaimed Vittorio Grigolo, known for his passionate and versatile voice, and the legendary baritone Luca Salsi, renowned for his powerful interpretations of Verdi. They will be joined by the brilliant young soprano Alisa Medvedeva, whose luminous talent has already garnered international praise.
Accompanying these stellar voices will be the esteemed National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, conducted by Alibek Kabdurakhmanov. Founded in 1937, the orchestra’s artistry will provide a magnificent foundation for a repertoire of arias from iconic works by Puccini, Verdi, and Donizetti.
