Emirates lounges reopen their doors to the clients
Emirates, which has relaunched more than 90 per cent of its pre-pandemic network, now flies to more than 120 destinations worldwide through its hub in Dubai. Customers travelling in first class and business class will be able to complement their holidays with Emirates’ signature premium lounge service at more than 20 airports in its network, which includes popular destinations in Europe, Africa, the US and Asia.
By the end of December, Emirates lounges at a number of UK airports will reopen their doors to immerse customers in a premium pre-flight experience, including Heathrow in London, Birmingham and Manchester, while lounges at Gatwick and Glasgow will welcome customers in January 2022.
In Europe, Emirates lounges in Germany, namely in Munich, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf, as well as lounges in Milan and Rome, have already reopened for passengers to enjoy their premium facilities, while lounges in Hamburg and Paris are scheduled to open later this month.
In the US, Emirates passengers can enjoy premium lounges at Los Angeles International Airport, Boston Logan International Airport and New York JFK Airport, while the Emirates Lounge in San Francisco will reopen in February 2022.
The additional Emirates Lounge for passengers travelling via Cairo has reopened early, while premium and Skywards customers will soon be able to relax and dine in the lounges in Colombo and Bangkok before their flight.
In Dubai International Airport’s exclusive Terminal 3, Emirates Premium and Skywards customers can also take advantage of the airline’s premium lounges in five dedicated lounges that are already fully operational.
The Emirates First Class Lounge, offering private lounge services for first class travellers as well as a full-service Business Class lounge, has reopened in Pavilion B of Terminal 3. Customers flying Business Class as well as Skywards Platinum and Gold members can enjoy a gourmet meal and premium beverage four hours before departure or take advantage of the free wi-fi to check emails, access the Internet or stay in touch with family and friends. New menus also include vegan, vegetarian and healthier options to suit passengers’ preferences.
Emirates’ First Class and Business Class lounges in Pavilion A have also reopened in the East Wing, while in the West Wing, First Class and Business Class lounges will reopen to passengers in the coming weeks. In addition, plans are underway to have the two lounges in Pavilion C fully operational by early next year to ensure an even more enjoyable experience.
Emirates First Class passengers and Platinum Skywards members can enjoy complimentary access to the airline’s lounges for the first passenger and up to three additional guests, including one adult and two children up to 17 years old. Before their departure, passengers in Concourse A can enjoy a unique taste of fine cuisine prepared by chefs in the show kitchens, enjoy a drink in the cigar bar or consult expert sommeliers for the best wines in the Le Clos wine cellar. The lounges also offer spa services and showers, a dedicated duty-free shopping area in First Class and the Concierge Duty-Free service in Business Class. Customers using the lounges will also have direct access to the gates at the airline’s dedicated A380 hub.
