Since the safe resumption of tourism operations in July 2020, Dubai remains one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations, especially during the winter season. The city is open to international businessmen and tourists. Dubai offers a variety of world-class experiences, from sun-soaked beaches and heritage activities to world-class hospitality and entertainment venues. It was one of the first cities in the world to receive the Safe Travels label from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), which confirms Dubai’s comprehensive and effective measures to ensure the health and safety of guests.
Dubai is currently hosting the Expo 2020 World Expo, which runs until March 2022. Under the theme Connecting Minds, Creating the Future, Expo 2020 Dubai aims to inspire people by showcasing the best examples of collaboration, innovation and cooperation from around the world. The programme is packed with events for all ages and interests, including a rich line-up of themed weeks, entertainment and educational activities. Arts and culture enthusiasts as well as food and technology lovers will be able to attend exhibitions, seminars, performances, live shows and more.
Emirates continues to lead the industry with innovative products and services and has recently advanced its customer-care initiatives, offering even more generous and flexible booking policies that have been extended until 31 May 2022, Covid-19 travel health insurance, as well as helping loyal customers maintain their miles and tiered status.
Concerned for the health and well-being of its passengers, Emirates has implemented a suite of security measures at every stage of a customer’s journey. The airline has also recently introduced contactless technology and enhanced digital verification capabilities to give its customers even more options for using the IATA Travel Pass, which can now be used at the 50 airports served by Emirates.
