DUPHAT 2022 set to begin next week in Dubai
The 27th Dubai International Pharmaceutical and Technology Conference and Exhibition – DUPHAT 2022 – will start on Tuesday, 22 February 2022, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, part of INDEX Holding, the three-day annual event will bring together leading regional and international experts, professionals and industry executives in the pharmaceutical sector.
DUPHAT provides a global platform for the world’s best pharmaceutical and manufacturing suppliers to showcase their products and solutions and share new knowledge, ideas and innovations in pharma, technology, medicines and patient care.
The DUPHAT Conference and Exhibition provides pharmaceutical companies with the opportunity to present new products, learn about new technologies and developments, acquire scientific knowledge, network with industry peers, exchange knowledge and experience with sector experts and explore solutions to address industry challenges. For the first time, DUPHAT will have sessions dedicated to discussing the correct use of ‘over-the-counter drugs’.
More than 22,000 visitors and exhibitors from 82 countries are expected to attend this year’s show. The event will feature around 1,000 exhibitors, including the world’s top 100 pharmaceutical companies and regional manufacturers. The conference will feature 140 speakers who will share their views on various topics in 112 scientific sessions. Various seminars will discuss the latest scientific research in the pharmaceutical sector and 330 poster presentations will showcase breakthrough research.

The success of DUPHAT over the years is testament to the UAE’s ability to provide a forum for various global industries to network, share experiences and showcase innovations.”

DUPHAT will also include a session on the challenges of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, presented by the American Society of Systems Pharmacists (ASHP), as well as a series of workshops to discuss best practices and examples of exceptional service in the pharmaceutical sector.
DUPHAT is organised annually by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, a member of INDEX Holding, in strategic partnership with the Directorate General for Residents and Aliens, Dubai Health Authority, American Society of Systems Pharmacists, International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology, European Federation of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy.
