PCFC launches its new corporate identity

The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) today announced its new corporate identity based on three core principles: “Globality, Sustainability and Communication”.

The new globe-shaped logo has three main colours representing the areas overseen by the Corporation: gold symbolises sand, blue symbolises water and white symbolises space.

His Excellency Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman of PCFC introduced the new logo at an official ceremony held at the DP World Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai during the World Government Summit 2022. The launch ceremony was attended by the corporation’s Board of Directors, His Excellency Ahmed Mahbub Musabih, CEO of Dubai Customs and CEO of Ports, Customs and Free Zones Corporation, as well as executive directors from various departments and sectors of the corporation.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, His Excellency said: “Today we are announcing the launch of the new PCFC corporate identity, which marks a new phase of our growth. The new logo represents our aspirations for the future and the next stage of our journey towards excellence. Based on three elements: Global, Sustainability and Communication, the new corporate identity reflects the vision of our leadership and the strategic priorities of the Government of Dubai.”

“The elements and components of our new logo are inspired by our leadership’s vision to strengthen Dubai’s position at the forefront of global efforts to enhance sustainable development. The corporation provides services throughout the emirate, including in free zones and special development zones, as well as in Dubai’s coastal areas and waters. “Our customs services play a key role in enhancing security as well as economic and commercial growth,” bin Sulayem added.

Established in 2001, the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation is one of Dubai’s leading government organisations. Organisations and bodies working under its umbrella include Dubai Customs, Dubai Ports Authority, Planning and Development Department – Trahis, Dubai Maritime City Authority and Wooden House Maritime Agency Authority.

A film announcing the corporation’s logo was screened at today’s launch ceremony, followed by the unveiling of the corporation’s new website and corporate identity.
