Dubai Airports wins Gold Stevie® Award
Dubai Airports won the Gold Stevie® Award in the Most Innovative Workplace Redesign During Covid-19 category of the seventh annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.
Dubai Airports was awarded the Gold Stevie® Award for implementing a number of impressive initiatives during the Covid-19 pandemic to protect the health and well-being of employees, customers and guests. These included the redesign of the Dubai Airport workplace with the installation of on-site testing and vaccination equipment and free access to it for all employees and their families.
In a very short period of time, a number of important technological changes have also been introduced that have changed the way Dubai Airport operates. These included the introduction of an online collaboration platform and the removal of restrictions on video conferencing to enable remote working, the introduction of the DAInsignia electronic signature platform, providing 100% digital staff with the ability to work from any location, and the automation of human resources services, which has eliminated paperwork and increased staff efficiency. These changes have not only increased efficiency, but have also made contactless working possible, providing maximum security for all employees.
This year’s Stevie Awards category “COVID-19 Response” recognises innovative workplace changes during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the safety and productivity of employees, customers and others. A special category was created to recognise the contributions of human resources professionals, teams and entire organisations who worked valiantly throughout the year to ensure employees’ safety, health, employment, wages and awareness.
More than 100 professionals around the world participated in the judging process to select this year’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners. Winners in the Employer of the Year categories were determined through a unique combination of judging by professional judges and more than 80,000 public votes. The public vote was sponsored by HiBob.
