Saudi National Day celebration in Dubai
This year, Dubai residents and visitors are in for a real treat as celebrations to mark Saudi National Day will take place across the city from September 23 to 26.
Given the close ties between the UAE and the KSA and the large number of Saudi nationals residing and visiting Dubai, the city will host an extensive programme of special celebrations in honour of the Kingdom and its people, including exciting concerts and entertainment, unrivalled retail promotions, exciting events and amazing hotel deals.
Arab music sensations Assala Nasri, Fuad Abdelwahed and Asel Hameem will take to the stage to celebrate Saudi National Day with a rousing show featuring all their chart-topping songs at the Coca-Cola Arena on 24 September.
In celebration of Saudi National Day across the city, leading retailers in Dubai malls will offer discounts ranging from 25% to 75% on fashion, accessories, footwear, cosmetics and perfumes, optics, home and outdoor products, electronics, pharmacies as well as department stores and hypermarkets.
To celebrate the 92nd Saudi National Day, shoppers should head to City Walk for special retail offers.
Outlet Village will celebrate Saudi National Day with live music and surprise its visitors with free gifts on 23 September.
Head to The Track at Meydan Golf to take part in a night race to celebrate Saudi Arabia’s National Day on 23 September from 8pm. Adults over the age of 16 can walk or run distances of 10km, 5km or 3km, while children under 15 can run the 1km route. Tickets can be purchased online at PremierOnline.
Celebrate Saudi Arabia’s National Day with a full-on, clan-wide celebration at Aventura, Dubai’s largest ziplining park, from 23 to 25 September.
Spectacular stunts, freestyle motocross and record-breaking stunts will be presented at the Crusty Demons World Domination Show on September 23 at the Coca-Cola Arena. Tickets can be purchased online at coca-cola-arena.com.
Until 30 September, Saudi nationals can indulge in family entertainment at Dubai Dolphinarium by purchasing VIP seat tickets at a 25% discount for the amazing dolphin and seal show, which starts at 11am, 2pm and 6pm daily (except Tuesdays). This Saudi National Day, invite children for free to visit Dubai’s parks and resorts. From 23 September to 28 September, Saudi nationals receive one free admission for a child with each paying adult when they visit Motiongate and Bollywood parks. The offer is valid for 1-day tickets to one park or 1-day tickets to two parks. To take advantage of the offer, tickets must be purchased at the entrance upon presentation of a national ID (issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
On September 23rd from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, enjoy traditional dances performed by Al-Harbia Band and Al Ayyala Band while shopping at City Centre Mirdif, City Walk, Nakheel Mall, Dubai Festival City Mall and Bluewaters.
Dubai Festival City Mall will also host a special IMAGINE fountain show on September 23 to celebrate Saudi National Day.
Visitors and residents can enjoy incredible views of Dubai’s most famous landmarks illuminated in the colours of the Saudi flag, including Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Ain Dubai and Dubai Frame, which will turn green at 7pm on September 23. Dubai’s skies will also light up with an amazing fireworks display at The Beach at 9pm.
Dubai, a favourite holiday destination for tourists from the Kingdom, will warmly welcome families and guests arriving by plane for this year’s Saudi National Day celebrations. Dubai International Airport will tag passengers’ bags with the country’s national flag and display greetings on its screens.
